Scope of Training: This course is designed for personnel handling, transporting, packaging, manifesting hazardous materials as required under DOT 49 CFR Part 171 regulations. Some chemicals may be safety hazards and have the potential to cause fires, explosions, and other serious accidents. This training covers the handling, transporting, and storing of hazardous materials and is conducted in accordance with the DOT Code of Federal Regulations, Title 49 Parts171-180.
