Stay in view of the Pilot when first approaching the helicopter.Make eye contact with the assigned pilot.Approach at a 45° -90° angle to the side of the helicopter.Know the location of the Tail Rotor and its dangers.Do not pass under the helicopter’s tail boom at anytime! Once the Tail Rotor is turning rapidly, it becomes difficult to see.Do not step on “Pop Out” flotation assembly to board the helicopter.Use the step assembly provided.Observe the Caution sign provided.
