First, there should be an understanding of different kinds of factors that may cause fatigue. It is also important to identify an employee who is showing signs of high levels of fatigue. You will learn the difference between sleepy and fatigue. There are contributing factors on what causes fatigue and the association with shift workers. The entire organization can become at risk because of the underlying reasons and the importance of fatigue management at work. Fatigue is a sign that your body is in need of immediate rest. If not given what it needs, your physical health will start getting affected. The detrimental effects of fatigue are far-reaching and can include decreased cognitive performance, reduced productivity, and health risks such as depression and cardiovascular diseases. However, these consequences expand way beyond the workplace.
