Description
OSHA requires that any workers who may be called upon to use a portable fire extinguisher receive training on an extinguisher. This 4 hour course is required for personnel with potential exposure to flammable materials. Course discussion will focus on fire prevention and early detection. All students will receive hands-on demonstration and use a portable fire extinguisher to extinguish an incipient stage fire in compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.157, API RP 14G & API RP 75 [SEMP].
This course will meet offshore operator requirements for hands on training
