Keep a Safe Distance

In all cases where OSHA 1926 Subpart CC allows work inside the minimum clearance distances a non conductive tag line is required. It is a good idea to use non conductive tag lines at all times, just in the event an accidental contact does occur.

Signal persons must also resist the urge to go to the aid of a fellow worker who becomes electrocuted. By entering the area of the injured worker the signal person exposes him/herself to electrocution.
