Physical measures for people and property protection are always important and they must correspond with the level of risk for that location. Physical measures are:
- Cameras
- Access control systems
- Fencing
- Security guards
- Alarms
Questions concerning physical security:
- Are access cards accounted for?
- Are cameras properly located and operative?
- How are images recorded and stored?
- Are there alarms or panic buttons in the facility?
- Are employee ID cards updated regularly?
- Are cards withdrawn from a terminated employee?
