Slow Moving Vehicles

Be aware of slowed vehicles on fast roads and highways, These can be just as much of a hazard as speeding vehicles. Large trucks and smaller engine vehicles tend to lose speed when travelling upwards and need a longer time to speed up when entering oncoming traffic.

Some larger vehicles have an orange triangle displayed on the back that indicates the vehicle will be going much slower, this means the vehicle will not drive faster than 25 miles per hour.

If you encounter a slow-moving vehicle, stay calm and remember that there is nothing you can do to make your trip faster. Stay a safe distance behind the vehicle, if you find that it is legal and safe to pass this vehicle, pass it with reasonable space between both vehicles for ensured safety.
